I am currently enrolled in the occupational therapy assistant program at ULM. I am a lover of animals and the outdoors. My interests include traveling, helping others, and continuing to learn as much as I can.

INTEGRATIVE TOUCH PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY 

Through this level II fieldwork I have gain valuable experience and knowledge involving pediatric diagnosis's and treatment methods.

Level II FieldWork: Physio 

PHYSIO

Through this level II fieldwork I have gained beneficial experience in working in the outpatient orthopedics field that specializes in hand therapy. I have gained knowledge and experience in diagnosis and treatments related to the upper extremities and splinting.

Level I FieldWork: Juvenile Detention Center 

GREEN OAKS JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER 

Have gained beneficial experience in working with juveniles that are more prone to incarceration due to poverty, poor economic standing, violent behaviors, and mental disorders through level I psychosocial fieldwork.

ULM OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY CLINIC 

Have gained valuable experience in planning and implementing treatment plan involving pediatric clients, with a focus on feeding and developing social interaction skills through level I outpatient fieldwork.

Through an Internship with LSU, learning valuable skills and techniques of working with children with cerebral palsy and other developmental problems.

I attended LSU, where I gained a bachelor's degree in human science movement with a concentration in kinesiology and a minor in business. During my time at LSU, I was involved in a number of organizations including the OT club, the kinesiology club, and Kappa Delta Sorority.

Along with my church, every 2nd Saturday of the month, we cook, prepare, and deliver meals to the elderly and less fortunate members of our community. 

DESIRED STREET SHELTER

​

Every Friday Morning, a group of us get together to prepare a meal for the local shelter in Monroe. After we are done preparing it, we take it and server it to the members of the Desired Street Shelter

SOTA

 

SOTA is the Student Occupational Therapy Association that is linked to the ULM OTA program. It is a student-run organization, which I am currently vice president of. We participate in various projects on and off campus to promote service within our community.
